Company Background
Commercial Concrete & Reo is a newly established Concrete and Steelfixing Contractor and commenced operating on 11 August 2003 in the Sydney Metropolitan Area in the Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Construction Sector.
The Company's Senior Management is:
Sergio Ciaschetti , the Principal, who has 20 years Practical Experience in the Industry as a concretor in the family business, principal & director of Alente Concrete & Constructions and as a Construction Manager.
Ken Penfold , the General Manager, has nearly 30 years of Management experience in the Industry.
Commercial Concrete & Reo is a member of the Concrete Pavior's Association of NSW and a member of the Master Builders Association of NSW.

Operating Equipment:

All equipment is regularly tested, tagged and calibrated.
Project Supervision:
Our supervisors and foremen, under the
control of our Managing Director, Sergio Ciaschetti, manage the
day-to-day operations of the Company.
Our Concreting Supervisors are experienced in the coordination of
concrete pours and have a strong knowledge of concrete pumping, placing
and finishing.
Our Steelfixing Supervisor is extremely experienced in all facets of
steelfixing on major projects and controls a team of very reliable and
productive workers.
Skilled Workforce:
The Company has experienced teams of
concretors with proven abilities to screed and finish large volume
concrete pours to high Industry Standards. Our teams of steelfixers also
are experienced on major projects and are highly regarded for their
skill and productivity by the Builder’s project staff.
All workers are full-time employees of the Company and are paid in
accordance with the provisions of their EBA and their current Award.
The current workforce is: 30 (at January 2004).
Contract Administration:
Progress Claims: Progress Claims issued on a full claimed to date basis with a Variations Register attached.
Safe Work Method Statements: Safe Work Method Statements are signed and authorized for use by Senior Management and our workers are inducted in their use. They are issued with the following content:

Managing Director - Sergio Ciaschetti
He maintains a day-to-day involvement in the operations of the Company, is responsible for the overall management of the Company and negotiation of tenders. He is also responsible for the coordination of labour and equipment for our concrete pours and our Site Supervisors report directly to him. He has considerable practical experience and knowledge of concrete pumping, placing and finishing and steelfixing.
General Manager - Ken Penfold
He entered the Industry in 1975 and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He has considerable experience in Financial Management, Marketing and Tendering, Industrial Relations, Occupational Health & Safety, Contract Management and Administration, Operations Management and Quality Assurance.Site Supervisors - Concreting
